Abstract
This editorial explores how a study examining the effectiveness of teaching a procedural skill, such as central venous catheter insertion, can be made more comprehensive and scientifically robusFt. Modern teaching methods are commonly employed to minimize patient harm while allowing the practice of rare yet critical procedures. Utilizing a pedagogical framework for procedural skill training is essential. Additionally, several key points regarding study design should always be considered to enhance the generalizability of the findings.
