從臨床技能教室至醫療現場－第一屆國際臨床技能研討會工作坊紀要

Abstract

第一屆國際臨床技能研討會(The First International Clinical Skills Conference)於2005年5月8日至11日在義大利佛羅倫斯市附近的古城Prato召開。本屆會議是由澳洲Monash大學的醫學、護理與健康科學教育中心(Center for Medical, Nursing and Health Sciences Education at Monash University)及英國倫敦大學國王學院(University of London, King's College London)所共同主辦。共有英、美、澳等二十餘國約二百五十人參加，來自台灣的與會者為高雄醫學大學醫學院醫學系賴春生主任與筆者等六位教師。研討會的主題為“建立臨床技能教室與醫療現場之街接”(From the skills laboratory to the workplace: Making the connections)，議題包括：(1) theory practice gap in clinical skills/work-based teaching; (2) competence versus confidence; (3) teaching practical skills; (4) alternative models for clinical skills teaching; (5) learning clinical skills in the community; (6) clinical supervision; (7) assessment of clinical skills; (8) assessment in the workplace including assessment of professional attributes; (9) the impact of role-modeling on teaching professionalism in the clinical context; (10) simulation to actual practice; (11) interprofessional opportunities-rhetoric versus reality; (12) the appropriateness of the clinical skills movement for the international arena (including developing countries)。筆者謹將本屆會議工作坊的重點摘要如下。
